EARLY YEARS:
Our curriculum is a blend of  the Early Years Foundation Stage framework (EYFS) and Montessori curriculum. The EYFS is a play-based curriculum for children from birth to 5 years, which allows children to explore and learn in an environment that is secure and safe yet challenging.
The Montessori Method and philosophy is also used within the EYFS Framework.
Our curriculum is designed to meet standard of all education systems. Its peculiar blend makes it more child centered and innovative to meet up with 21st century core skills.
Our curriculum undergoes review and relevancy updates to meet international best practices.

PRIMARY

The primary section is divided into keystage 1 and 2. Year 1-3 and 4-6 respectively

Swimming
swimming is one of our core life saving skills. The learners are encouraged to come along with all their swimming gear and are guided by a trained coach at an academy approved by the school.

Taekwondo

taekwondo is also a life saving skill that serves as an alternative option for swimming.

Music

STEAM

Science, technology, engineering arts and mathematics

Sports

tennis, badminton, basket ball and table tennis.

Show and Tell Days
In the EYFS section in building more of their vocabulary , communication and listening skills, the children choose with a favorite toy to talk about in class usually once a week. Also a scenario is created for the students to look and tell an imaginary story.

Music
Music is used to ignite all areas of child’s development and skills for school readiness including fine-motor, language and literacy. It helps the body and the mind work together. Exposing children to music during early development helps them learn the sounds and meanings of words. We use musical instruments ideal for their small hands!

Ballet/Gymnastics
Our kids are encouraged to learn a lot more than classroom notes by taking ballet lessons. Ballet teaches kids discipline, teamwork and other important lifelong skills. There are many lifelong benefits from enrolling kids in karate or Taekwondo lessons. Martial Arts can channel their energy into wisdom, self-defence, physical fitness and an increase in self-esteem. It helps kids with self-discipline and better socialization skills.

Our Islamic section operates early morning and afternoons classes. Our  curriculum is age-appropriate inspired and is designed to meet the developmental needs  children holistically. We focus on  key learning areas;

We consider parents to be child’s primary educators and recommends  they contribute to their child’s learning. Parent partnerships are key to a successful school experience for children and for them to get the most out of their early education.
We at NOBS enjoy working with parents and we keep our parents informed about their children’s school activities through various programs such as meet the parents day, Morning meetings, Parents-Teachers Conference, Curriculum Guidelines and Communication Diary.
